Gemma is the matriarch of Watersedge Kelpies. She is the longest living legend at Watersedge. She came into my life as a �loan� and stayed forever more. Gemma is a litter sister to Ginger Meggs and along with him is the foundation of our kennel.

She is affectionately referred to as my �teddy bear� and is never far from my side. I have been truly fortunate to have had a companion such as she has turned out to be. I cannot imagine life without her.

Gemma has the most beautiful face of any of my Kelpie girls. At her age, she is still remarkable. She exemplifies all of the traits that are desirable in an Australian Kelpie.

Gemma secured her place in the show ring gaining her Australian Champion title as a youngster. She managed to cement her position and was competitive with many of the greats of her day.

Although retired, Gemma is quite happy to have an outing to the shows and wander around visiting her friends.

She has blessed Watersedge with several litters. Her children, C.J. and Evie, are still members of the Watersedge line-up.
