April 26th
Huge congratulations to Melissa De Matos & Brian Borg for Watersedge Enchanted Destiny aka Raiven being awarded the Best of Breed Finnish Lapphund in Sydney today by Ms Leila Karkas of Finland!

Raiven is from the mating in 2010 between Ch. Janoby All About Aslann (Aslann) and Ch. Watersedge Tru Destiny (IID FIN) HT (Jaana) which produced a record 11 puppies.

Raiven has been a little star for her handler Melissa and today's win signifies the highest number of challenge points awarded to the breed in New South Wales apart from a Sydney Royal Show. 15 Finnish Lapphunds were entered and exhibited today. Melissa and Raiven had some stiff competition from more seasoned and awarded Lappies.

April 24th
Another cause for celebration in Victoria today with Watersedge Secret Agent (Larry) owned by Janoby Kennels and shown by Robyn Sharp attaining Runner-Up Best in Group and Intermediate in Group. This follows on from his award yesterday.

Well done guys! You deserve it after the recent turn of events you have endured.

April 23rd
News in from Victoria that Watersedge Secret Agent (Larry) has been awarded Intermediate in Group and was given a very strong look for Intermediate in Show!

Larry is from our litter of Finnish Lapphunds mid 2009 between Grand Ch. Watersedge Alias Aleksi (IID FIN) (Aleksi) and Ch. Janoby All About Aura (Roara).

No shows for Watersedge this Easter due to the human component being laid up! However this has given us the opportunity to upgrade the Photo Gallery with new shots of the current litters.

April 17th
It has been several weeks since we last hit the show ring.

Herding Instinct's Herra Watersedge (imp SWE) (Markku) was the Best of Breed Finnish Lapphund winner at both the shows we attended. Both the girls, Watersedge Destiny's Child (Beyonce) and Watersedge All About Attitude (Kati) also had wins for the best bitch.

April 15th
Markku's trifecta has arrived! Theldaroy KissMe It's Ezy (Elke) surprised us with a litter of Finnish Lapphund puppies this morning. The father is again our new Swedish import Herding Instinct's Herra Watersedge (imp SWE) (Markku).

He has been a busy boy over the last few months!

These 3 recent litters mark a new direction for Watersedge Kennels and we are eternally grateful to Cattlin Marques of Herding Instinct's Kennels in Sweden for entrusting this lovely boy to us.

April 3rd
The second litter sired by Herding Instinct's Herra Watersedge (Markku) has arrived.

Poppy has puppies! Ch. Watersedge Alias Anja (Sanni) delivered 5 puppies - 3 males and 2 females.

We have a very interesting marked boy in "Ronan". He is our first black and white.
